Accountant at Excel and Grace Consulting

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Assist with the annual audit process.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for products.
• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs.
• Prepare cost reports for management review.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budget.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
