Accountant at Excel and Grace Consulting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor expenses, and identify costsaving opportunities.
• Process invoices, payments, and collections. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
• Collaborate with management to track inventory levels and costs.
• Prepare and file necessary tax returns, including sales tax, payroll taxes, and income taxes.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Adhere to all relevant accounting and financial regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and industryspecific accounting practices is an added advantage.
