Accountant at E-Phaim Energy Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all company transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support decision-making
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and overall profitability across projects
• Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, pensions, etc.)
• Provide support during audit processes and liaise with external auditors when required
• Prepare invoices and follow up on payments from clients and contractors
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions
• Support management with financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
• Assist with the management and tracking of company assets

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting role (experience in a project-based environment is an added advantage)
• Good understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and statutory requirements
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
