Job Description:

Statutory payments

• Communicating with agents for the timely renewal of SONCAP product certifications.
• Completion of LIRS, PAYE, and other Pension returns and ensuring strict adherence to all statutory deadlines.
• Annual payment for land use charges

Purchase process

• Custodian of the entire P2P process for the imported as well as the locally purchased items
• Completion of various banking formalities wrt import process like M form application, Marine insurance policy, container clearing, etc
• Completion of SONCAP, NAFDAC, and terminal invoice processing.
• Maintaining and updating the refund tracker and timely application for refund
• Liasoning with the various stakeholders involved - Shipping agent, SON and NAFDAC officials, Terminal licensing agency, Shipping company, etc.

Mandatory Skill set:

• Knowledge of the import process and required documentation for clearing import shipments
• Working knowledge of various statutory dues and their payment deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation skills while dealing with current and potential vendors
• 2 - 3 years of work experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Applications

Desirable Skill Set:

• Working knowledge of Xero and Unleashed accounting software
• Knowledge of Box cloud storage management systems.
