Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company\'s financial records, accounting operations, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documents.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Track income, expenses, budgets, and financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and file relevant tax and statutory returns as required.
• Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Provide management with financial insights and reports to support decision-making.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Experience in the real estate industry is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively under pressure.
