JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions and also provide technical support and advice to management.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures and participate in financial standards setting and forecast process.
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
• Experience with general ledger functions and support month-end and year-end close process and Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Taking care of tax returns and making sure they’re paid in time.
• Examining the accuracy of financial documents and where they stand with laws and regulations.
• Offering advice to organizations on how to reduce cost, improve their revenue, and boost profit.
