Accountant at BrainShare Technologies

Main Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and journal entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any discrepancies with vendors or clients.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and support decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, accounting standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
• Assist in payroll processing and related tax filings.
• Any other Tasks assigned by the Management.

Personal Qualities & Qualifications:

Job Holder must possess the following:

• Data entry skills.
• Good knowledge of financial software.
• Attention to detail & thoroughness.
• Analytical mind & ability to drive revenue collection at record time.
• Demonstrates sense of urgency & tenacious at work.
• Must be a undergoing his/her ICAN.
• Degree holder in Accounting from reputable higher institution.
• Candidates must be Resident of Lagos Island, Ajah - Lekki axis.

Required Experience:

• Must have 3 years cognate experience in a similar position from reputable big organization.

Age Bracket:

• 26 – 35 years of age.
