Accountant at BAFashion Shop

Job Description:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented accountant to join our team. The accountant will be responsible for managing the store’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Monitor and record daily financial transactions, ensuring they align with company policies
• Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements and financial records
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision making
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
• Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely disbursements to employees

Qualifications:

• BSc. / HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in similar role
• Professional qualification is an added advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and time management abilities
