Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner
• Accurately processing invoices of all payments.
• Record data such as accounts payable and account receivables into software (AP bills and application of payments, credit etc.).
• Carry out monthly review of all expense accounts and isolate unusual items and recommend correcting journals for posting in the G/L books to ensure funds are utilized appropriately and detent fraud, if any.
• Compile financial information from accounting software to prepare financial statement and other ad hoc reports.
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual report
• Perform historical assessment/reviews and work backs.
• Provide advisory services such as business valuation, budget preparation, accounting framework, and set up.
• Make recommendations after analysis.
• Identify trends, advise and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.

Job qualification

• 2-3years hands-on experience within a structured organization.
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.
• Proven knowledge and expertise in financial reporting, internal auditing, financial analysis & management, financial software, statistical analysis & packages, reconciliation and stock taking
• A member of a professional body e.g. ACA,ACCA, CFA (Part or Fully Qualified).
• A good understanding of the market is paramount.
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Knowledge and basic experience in Accounting, MS Office, Financial Management.
• Highly confidential with good integrity.
• Highly organized with ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on weekends
