    Account / Procurement Executive

    Key Responsibilities and Duties

    • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
    • Preparing and verifying payment instructions.
    • Reconciling bank balances to ensure effective control over the financial information.
    • Preparing and checking of sales quotations/invoices.
    • Provide general accounting support.
    • Overseeing all activities of the purchasing department.
    • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
    • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
    • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
    • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
    • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
    • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
    • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
    • Carry out all other duties as delegated by Senior Officer.
    • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures of the finance department.
    • Maintain records of all financial transaction and correspondence s in the requisite files (invoices, credit notes, remittance slips, copies of withholding VAT and any other accountable correspondence)
    • Ensure that collections and banking are done in a timely manner.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
    • A minimum of one (1) year of experience performing a similar or related role.

    Competencies:

    • Have excellent computer skills with a good grasp and knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and other MS office applications.
    • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented multicultural environment.
    • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Be a fast learner and pay attention to details.
    • Have personal integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends.
    • Ability to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards.

    Salary
    N60,000 - N80,000 monthly.
