Job Description

• Processing / posting of all financial transactions on QuickBooks to ensure timely closing of ledger and control accounts.
• Preparation, processing and timely filing of all statutory returns with all relevant tax regulators e.g., VAT, WHT, NSITF, PENSION, NHF, PAYE.
• Maintains best practice standards in accounting processing.
• Financial forecasting and risk analysis
• Adept computer skills and proficiency using programs like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise the bookkeeping of an organization
• Posting of daily transactions into the account software
• Daily inventory reconciliations
• Posting of month end journals
• Monthly bank reconciliation statements preparation
• Supporting the process of management accounts preparations for other subsidiaries
• Preparing all ad hoc finance related reports/tasks
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by your superior or Management.
