Account Officer at Cool FM

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Adherence to month end book closing procedures & deadline
• To maintain and reconcile the General Ledger
• Responsible for integrity of General ledger
• To assist with the preparation of the budget
• To maintain and reconcile the accounts payable
• Ensure compliance with internal, external reporting standards, and internal control rules
• Preparation of Prepayment Schedules.
• Providing monthly ageing analysis to management and advice on criticality of payment.
• Regular stock taking and inventory reconciliation.
• Posting transactions to the correct ledgers timely and accurately
• Handling overall Taxation matters, Statutory Audits, Internal Audit & other Audit
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity and reliability of all financial information and meeting the deadlines.
• Ensuring that all costs are properly tracked and that OPEX and CAPEX are within budget
• Maintenance of Fixes Assets Register
• Supervision of Outstation Account Officers.
• Any other task assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor's or Master's Degree with at least 4 years work experience.
