Account Officer at Animal Care Services Consult

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and assess all accounting procedures and policies to ensure accurate and complete transaction recording.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable, and payable balances monthly.
• Professionally handle all tax-related matters.
• Prepare year-end schedules for audit purposes.
• Recommend improvements to the company’s accounting processes.
• Prepare payment vouchers and accurately code all transactions.
• Process expense payments.
• Reconcile advances, review receipts, code expenses in the general ledger, and ensure proper entry into the Oracle system.
• Maintain organized accounting records and files.
• Track and follow up on outstanding advances to ensure timely reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting with a minimum of Second Class Upper (BSc) or Upper Credit (HND).
• At least one to three years of relevant experience.
• Professional membership in ICAN is an added advantage.
• Age range: 25-30 years.
• Open to both male and female candidates.
