Account Officer at Reputable Pharmaceutical Company

A reputable SPECIALIST HOSPITAL based in Lagos with many years of operation requires the services of an ACCOUNT OFFICER with a hospital background

 JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Statement of Accounts
• Preparation of relevant financial report ie sales lodgment & interbank reconciliation report
• Preparation of Account and income statement, Trade debtors & creditors report, Bank, cash balances and experienced in  hospital billing etc
• Preparation of payroll and ensure all relevant deduction and remittances are made within stipulated time
• Tax and inventory reporting.

ACCOUNT OFFICER REQUIREMENTS

• BSC in accounting 
• Working experience as an Accountant/Account Officer preferably in a hospital system (must have worked or working in a hospital)
• First Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field with 2 years cognate experience as an Account officer
• Thorough knowledge of Nigeria's Financial laws and regulations
• Experience using Accounting software (Tally, Peachtree, Herbst, Sage etc)
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
• Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
• Applicants must reside in Lagos; residence around Amuwo Odofin, Mile2, Festac, Coker, Apapa, Ijesha,ishunya, Satelite town etc will be an added advantage
