    Account Director

    Job Description
    Technical Expertise:

    • Works with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identifies/implements products to help achieve client goals
    • Innovative and intuitive approach to researching key target markets and new opportunities, combined with advanced evaluation, reporting and decision-making skills with a results-driven focus
    • Demonstrate broad industry expertise
    • Outstanding delivery skills: able to plan, manage and deliver impressive marketing campaigns in accordance with client briefs.

    Business Development:

    • Maintain relationships and serves as the point of contact and liaison for clients
    • Oversee the business development functions
    • Responsible for harnessing growth opportunities through great work
    • Proactively identify prospective clients and business opportunities; prospecting new clients
    • Developing proposals and making presentations to clients to land new accounts.

    Client/Account Management:

    • Secure and expand relationships with key customers through face-to-face meetings and virtual engagements
    • Supply the Head of Business with reports on customer needs, interests, competitive activities and potential for new product and services
    • Build trust credibility and client referrals
    • Building relationships with key personnel within clients’ accounts
    • Monitoring client satisfaction post event/project evaluation and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
    • Creating an account strategy to drive client’s business objectives
    • Generating ideas for new revenue generation within existing clients
    • Generating ideas and generating revenue within specified clients.

    Team Management:

    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedules
    • Oversee the delivery of the Unit’s revenue billings
    • Effective management of internal and external stakeholders.

    Experience & Qualification

    • Qualification: HND, Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience: 7-9 years
    • CIM certification is an added advantage
    • Mentoring & coaching skills
    • Result-oriented
    • Must be a strategic thinker and possess good business negotiation skills
    • Innovative & proactive
    • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
