Security Analyst Skills;

Perform periodic assessments and generate written reports on cyber risks associated with common operating systems Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Linux, etc

• Perform periodic assessments and generate written reports on cyber risks associated       with common third party applications for desktop, mobile devices.
• Experienced in installation/ deployment and maintenance of security software.
• Good IT security presentation skills.
• Train clients on security awareness, protocols and procedures.
• Sound knowledge of cyber threat analysis and mitigation using various tools.
• Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols
• Computer networking , routing and switching.
• Industry knowledge of cyber security landscape as it relates to Africa in comparison with     other parts of the world.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies in the cyber security arena.
• Ability to perform vulnerabilities assessment on various applications and devices.
• Develop and participate in the delivery of Information Security awareness and education materials, presentations.
• Hands-on experience with basic cyber security Incident Response processes.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Computer Engineering and related technical field
• Minimum 4 years experience in IT Security environment.
• Certifications in IT security specialist courses is an added advantage.
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timeline.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse IT Security techniques.
