Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job Description
To develop and manage architectural design functions
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and design proposals to clients
• Determine the client’s goal and requirements of projects
• Consider how space will be used and how people will move through the space
• Advice clients on the practicability of their projects
• Sketch design plans and other layouts
• Create a timeline for interior design projects and estimate project costs
• Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of design elements
• Resolve problems and issues that arise during installation activities
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors on design concepts and architectural concepts

• Artistic Ability: Use sense of style to develop designs that look great and aesthetically pleasing
• Creativity: Be imaginative in creating spaces that serve client’s need and fit the client’s lifestyle.
• Detail Oriented: Be precise in measuring interior spaces and making drawings so that furniture and other accessories will fit correctly and create the appropriate environment
• Problem Solving: Must be able to address challenges such as installation delays and high cost or sudden unavailability of selected materials while keeping the project on time and within budget.
• Visualization: Have a strong sense of proportion and visual awareness and to understand how pieces of a design will fit together to create the intended interior environment.

Requirements

• Should possess HND or B.Sc in Architecture, Interior Architecture or a related field
• Experience working as an Interior Architect or in a similar role
• Expert knowledge of budgeting and budget tracking, project management and strategic planning.
• Supervision, Managing Processes and Process Improvement
• Production Planning, Controls and Instrumentation
• Advance Skills in Sketch Up, Autocad and Microsoft Office Suite among others
