Accounts Manager at Skool Media

Job Purpose:

The Accounts Manager provides financial information to the Management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports, supervising daily support operations of both Skool Media and Edufirst.

Qualification/ Experience: B.SC/HND in Accounting with a minimum of 6 years experience.

Professional Qualification: ACA/ACCA

Job Description:

• Prepare profit or loss statement; help the company make budgets and set profits goals for the company.
• Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures.
• Prepare, analyze and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, other accounting documents and ensure expenditure controls.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and bank reconciliations
• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
• Ensure all company assets are monitored and accurately accounted for.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax

Requirements.

• Provision and interpreting financial information for decision making by management.
• Help maintain cash flow liquidity of the company and work with the management in devising financial Strategies for better profits.
• Introduce cost control measures and find out the waste expenses and point it out to the management
• Formulating strategic and long-term business plans; predicting future trends, analysing change and advising accordingly; amongst others.
