Senior MEAN Stack Engineer at Gokada Incorporated

Position Summary

• We are looking for a MEAN Stack Developer who will be  committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products.

Responsiblites

• Responsible for the development of robust and secure APIs that will power all our applications
• Development of robust and secure APIs that would power all Gokada platforms
• Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
• Resolve issues and fix bugs in good time of robust and secure APIs that will power all our applications

Requirements

• Must reside in Lagos
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Proficient with JavaScript and Modern JavaScript (ES6, ES7).
• Experience with Nodejs Modules.
• Experience with Testing Libraries and Frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Jest, Karma, Protractor.
• Experience with Web Sockets, Buffers and Streams in Nodejs.
• Familiarity with Building and Maintaining Restful Backend Services
• Familiarity with the JavaScript Module Pattern.
• Good Knowledge of Asynchronous programming in Javascript.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Working knowledge in user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Deployment
• Knowledge of AWS and its Cloud Messaging APIs.
• Knowledge of C or Rust Programming Language is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
