IT/Network Manager at AIM Consultants

Overall Summary

• Has the overall responsibility for servers, networking and hardware management, will be responsible for liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Will configure and deploy network switches these include:  Cisco Catalyst 2960, 3560, 3750, D-Link Smart Switch.
• Will be responsible for managing the Group’s computer networks.
• Will manage Windows/Linux operating systems
• Will oversee the Email protocols such as SMTP, IMAP and POP3
• Will be in charge of configuring configure Cisco 2600, 3800, 7600, Microtik router board Static & Dynamic Routing, Rip2, EIGRP, & OSPF routers.
• Will be responsible for Mail Server suites such as Exchange 2010, Mac outlook, Webmail and Outlook functions, live mail, Thunderbird, BBM, and MDeamon.
• Knowledge of Windows Servers OS such as: Windows Server 2008/2008R2, 2012/2012R2 server OS with Active Directory, Users, Group, DNS, DHCP, IIS6/7 web Server, Mail Servers & clients, backup servers and clients, printers and print servers, Active Directory –User with Group Policy/Roaming Profile, Assigning Disk quotas, Managing DNS for Intranet, SharePoint 2010 Administration, MS SQL Server2005/2008, Database backups, File storage, Synology NAS.

The selected candidate must have standard industry knowledge of the following:

• Configuring YUM, DHCP, NFS, SAMBA.(knowledge of Ubuntu and distro)
• Email protocols such as SMTP, IMAP and POP3
• Desktops: Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8.1/Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013, Apple Mac system, Ubuntu and Red Hat support
• Antivirus: Kaspersky
• Communication: IP-PABX Cisco Call Manager, Dlink VoIP, Siemens Hipath, Cisco SPA 921, Cisco SPA 2102, Cisco SPA8000, VOIP Phone System; managing Mobile applications of Blackberry, Android, Windows, Apple Platform and so on
• Servers Hardware: HP Prolient ML350 G5, G6, G7. Tower Server, Biometric,
• Security access system: ZKtecho, Anviz, Unis, DSX Access control
• CCTV: HIKVISION, Panasonic, CP-Plus
• WI-FI Access point: Linksys, Unifi, Maintaining ISDN, PRI, Lease Lines, MPLS, VLAN, VPN, WI-MAX and VSAT, IDirect 3000/ 5000 Connections, Firewall: Barracuda, Cisco ASA, v Sonicwall 3500Cyberoam NetGini, CR25Ing, CR35ING, CR100Ing, CR200Ing, Pfsense, untangle Network security design IPS /IDS.
• Good knowledge of Virtualization: Hyper V/Virtualization , VMware VSphere Hypervisor (ESXi)& site recovery manager, vCPU and RAM, Job Scheduler, OS, VMware (vCenter),Server monitoring and alerts, Implemented N-computing / HP /Dell Thin-Client System
• Knowledge of Applications such as Corel Draw, Microsoft, Office Mac, AutoCAD, Adobe creative suit, Open office, Photoshop CS, Video Conference: Blue Jeans, Skype.

Qualification:

• Minimum BSc. Degree in Computer Science or in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
