    Finance Manager

    Responsibilities
    Responsible for leading the financial reporting agenda within the organisation as follows:

    • Preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) – Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements
    • Preparation of the monthly Management reports
    • Preparation of the Outlook financials and analysis through the monthly Risk & Opportunities process
    • Preparation of the annual statutory financial statement
    • Performance of investment / project financial evaluations and decision support

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Budgeting process
    • Business performance measurement
    • Investment analysis
    • Performance ratios
    • IFRS Reporting

    Qualification and Experience Required

    • A Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or other related field. A Post-graduate Degree will be an added advantage.
    • Must be a Member/Fellow of a recognized Accounting professional body: ICAN/ACCA/CIMA
    • Experience: Minimum of 7 years' experience in Financial Reporting with 5 years at Management/Leadership levels.
    • Experience with an ERP would be an added advantage
    • Experience of financial analysis and modelling techniques, practically applied within a retail/Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Telecommunication or Manufacturing environment
    • Track record of success in highly demanding environment
    • In market knowledge - understands and relates to sales and marketing terminology and key performance drivers
    • Proven track record of influencing at senior management level
    • Clear and succinct communicator both culturally aware and adaptable

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong analytical, financial and IT Skills (familiarity with the usage of an ERP application is an advantage)
    • Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of statutory reporting under IFRS
    • Knowledge of management reporting to Top Management
    • Investment / Project analysis skill
    • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
    • Excellent Presentation skills.
    • Relationship Management.
    • Critical thinking and decision making skills.
