Process Engineer at Amaiden Energy Nigeria

Job Description

• Following day-to-day progress of engineering activities (basic and detailed) related to Process/Operation Coordination discipline by basic and EPSCC contractor and LLIs contractor.
• Ensuring close coordination with other disciplines (in particular process control/instrumentation and safety) to avoid discrepancies and documentation recycling.
• Ensuring that engineering documentation, requisitions for procurement and suppliers bids evaluation be fully compliant with Design Dossier major documentation (safety concept, PIDs, ESD logic, diagrams…etc) and with Company General specifications.
• Managing / attending regular project and technical follow up meeting with suppliers for main packages/equipment for checking of relevant sizing / calculations notes.
• Producing effective design fit for purpose, safe and on basis of “proven technology”.
• Ensuring full and efficient coordination with Field Operations during development of FPSO design, construction and commissioning with target of efficient start up / hand over to Operation (including preparation and performing of training to operators as necessary).
• Following up recommendation from PTRs and Hazops.
• Implementing of Operating Manual
• Following up of field engineering modifications as relevant.
• Close coordinating with personnel assigned for Commissioning for the development of pre-commissioning/ commissioning dossier and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Formal Education
• Professional experience of 5 years minimum
• Previous process or production experience of 5 years minimum
• Previous process or production experience in engineering or project experience – not required.
• Operational process or production experience in affiliates of 5 years minimum.
