    Head Teacher, Staff School

    REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelors degree in Education or related field, from NUC-recognized Institution with a minimum of 2nd Class lower with special interest in Montessori Nursery/Education.
    • Relevant Master Degree in Administration or Education Management would be an added advantage
    • ICT compliant (ability to prepare report etc)
    • A working Knowledge of French is also an added advantage
    • 21 years post NYSC cognate experience with 8 years as a seasoned teacher in a reputable International School with proven track record. Five (5) of such years must be at the Managerial level.
    • Evidence of leadership and administrative positions held, as well as training/seminars attended.
    • The vision for the job should be enclosed in the application, as well as applicants career profile

    • Good team player and ability to effectively co-ordinate the activities of the staff school
    • Good interpersonal relationship
    • Tenacious work ethic and a sense of urgency in solving problems
    • Strong analytical skill evident from previous work place.
    • Demonstrate personal accountability and driven to serve others
    • Strong people management skill and diplomacy
    • Bilingual skills i. e literate in French Language at least a Diploma in French or its equivalent
    • Ability to initiate proactive policies geared at propelling the staff school to greater heights
    • Ability to attract goodwill from immediate community and beyond for the
    • progress/benefit of school
    • Man/Woman of proven integrity

    Method of Application

    Application letters with photocopies of relevant supporting documents should be submitted inten (10) copies with fifteen (15) copies of detailed Curriculum Vitae stating the following:

    (i) Names in full
    (ii) Place of birth
    (iii) Home address
    (iv) Present postal Address and Phone No
    (v) Nationality at birth
    (vi) Present Nationality
    (vii) State of origin
    (viii) Marital Status
    (ix) Number and ages of children
    (x) Academic and Professional qualification (including distinctions with dates). Photocopies of certificates are to be enclosed
    (xi) Working experience (up to present status, grades and salary. Photocopy of last pay slips should be attached.
    (xii) Other activities outside current employment (xiii) Names and addresses of three (3) references, who should be advised to send their references on their behalf DIRECT to the Registrar of the Village.
    (xv) Proposed date of availability for duties, if appointed.
