Technical Consultant at 25th & Staffing

Mode of Hire: Subcon/Direct Contract

Job Locations: Johannesburg-South Africa, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Morocco.

Duration of Project: 6 months and (1 year renewable)

Language Preferred: French Speaking (Mandatory)

COMMON RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successfully manages customer relationships
• Supports delivery of service program to major Cisco customers.
• Performs analysis of complex network designs.
• Conforms to service delivery of Advanced Services standards.
• Supports delivery of service program to Cisco customers.
• Performs analysis of complex network designs.
• Questions ways of working and suggests improvements.
• Provides remote or onsite deployment support.
• Performs analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems.
• May perform customer facing presentations – QBR, Training, TOI.
• Generates reusable Intellectual Capital in the form of standard customer deliverables.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Certification: Professional Level CCNP or CCDP
• CCIE certification is preferred
• ACI/NSX Knowledge
• Security Knowledge Cisco FW/ISE/IPS/DMVPN etc.
• Compute (UCS) & Virtualization (VMWARE etc.)
• Candidate should have hands on experience in Service Provider routing and switching – IP MPLS, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, Nexus
• Projects and operations experience
• WLAN Knowledge

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Good understanding of the general R&S matters.
• Knowledgeable of Advanced Services type model deliverables and expectations.
• Practical experience with Cisco DCN (Nexus Switches)
• Network design skills.
• Ability to leverage technical expertise of others.
• Active participant in virtual technology teams in Advanced Services.
• Good /Superior Consulting and communication skills

EXPERIENCE:  Typically requires BS, CS or equivalent plus 4-8 years Cisco Network implementation, Network support, pre-sales support, hands on installation in the LAN /WAN network deployment.

Job Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

NOTE:

Candidate can be either based out in Senegal, Ivory Coast or Morocco (Africa). Where ever the candidate is based out, he will have to travel to other locations for work.

Will involve 60% travel activity

Rate PM: 230 USD per day
