An IT Consulting company is looking for a qualified Management Accountant to handle prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of the business.

Qualification

• Degree in Accounting or Banking & Finance required.
• Professional Qualification in Accounting
• Postgraduate degree an added advantage

Experience

• 1-3 years relevant accounting/auditing experience gained in an internship or other professional setting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of any accounting software preferred

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statement including monthly and annual accounts
• Ensure financial records are maintained In compliance with accepted polices and procedure.
• Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearly end close processes.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
• Monitor and support taxation requirements
• Develop and maintain financial database
• Prepare for financial audit and control the audit process
• Oversea accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenue and expenses.
• Track and prepare receivables including ageing analysis of all invoices and payments.
• Ensure proper creation of invoices and ensure that all bills that are due are prepared for approval and paid to all parties as at when due
• Follow the international accounting standards protocol and principles to ensure compliance, fraud and theft prevention.
• Responsible for matters related to funding and monetary management, supervise the receipts and retirement of all funds disbursed.
