School Bursar at Federal Polytechnic, Oko

Responsibilities
The Bursar is a Principal Officer of the Polytechnic and is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the Polytechnic.

Requirements

•     A good honours degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognised Institution of higher learning or equivalent professional accountancy qualification with at least eighteen (18) years post qualification experience
•     Membership of a recognised professional Accountancy body (eg. ICAN, etc) is mandatory
•     Possession of a higher degree will be an added advantage
•     Candidates must be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant and must command respect and be able to carry colleagues along
•     Evidence of Community Service is mandatory

Remuneration & Conditions of Service
The position is tenured and the Bursar shall hold office for a period of five years, in the first instance, and may be reappointed for a further period of five years and no more. Thereafter, he/she is assigned to other duties in the Polytechnic. Conditions of Service are as applicable in all other Federal Polytechnics.
