Job Summary and Purpose
- This role provides strategic leadership and management of the marine business and its operations with the aim of achieving a sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee vessel and general marine/barging operations
- Monitor the technical and operational performance of chartered fleets.
- Manage all activities relating to Ship/Shore compatibility clearance with local and international regulations and best industry practices as well as those requirements as detailed in the charter parties.
- Provide day to day logistics and operational support to marine operations and contractors.
- Draw up an integrated activity plan - minimum of 7-day Integrated Activity plan.
Qualifications
- Minimum of first degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 12 years work experience in similar role with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
