Head, Information Technology at Box and Cedar

Job Description:

• Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems for the Fund
• Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures that promote and ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability and security of organization’s data and information
• Coordinate efforts aimed at developing IT solutions and ensure optimal leverage of technology to effectively enable Fund operations and processes
• Identify and deploy relevant applications that support end users
• Oversee and evaluate system security and back up procedures.
• Plan, execute and finalize IT projects according to agreed deadlines and within budget
• Coordinate training/capacity building for new application systems
• Identify, evaluate and facilitate the selection of relevant third party service providers in line with the requirement of the fund
• Oversee the maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs) with service providers and interact with vendors to resolve problems
• Design and oversee the implementation of a business continuity plan and disaster recovery plan and system that ensures timely and continuous system availability at all times
• Ensure constant availability of the IT infrastructure to provide accurate and up-to-date organization management information

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related field

Knowledge & Skills:

• 7 years experience in supporting IT operations
• Deep knowledge and understanding of information technology and administration
• Appreciable knowledge of relevant enterprise application and operating systems
• Good knowledge of network architecture, design and management, LAN and WAN management, network security, data networks and global leading practices in information management
• Excellent problem solving, project and change management skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills
