• We are seeking a talented and creative 3D HD Animation Cartoon Developer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D animated content for various projects, including cartoons, films, and advertisements.

Salary: 100,000 Nigerian Naira monthly

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and create 3D character models, environments, and assets.
• Rig and animate characters and objects with lifelike movements and expressions.
• Work closely with directors and storyboard artists to develop compelling narratives and storyboards.
• Ensure that animation sequences meet technical and creative standards while adhering to project timelines.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and maintain project consistency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and techniques.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a 3D animator with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality animations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and weight.
• Excellent storytelling and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Must have skills

• Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques.
• Experience with character rigging and animation, including facial animation and lip-syncing.
• Knowledge of particle systems, dynamics, and physics simulations for creating realistic effects
• Familiarity with rendering engines such as Arnold, V-Ray, or RenderMan.
• Understanding of compositing software like Adobe After Effects or Nuke for post-production work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Passion for storytelling and a creative mindset with the ability to bring characters and worlds to life.

Good to have skills

• Experience with motion capture technology and techniques.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or MEL for automation and tool development.
• Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies.
• Background in traditional 2D animation or illustration.
• Experience with game development engines like Unity or Unreal Engine for real-time rendering.
• Understanding of audio production and sound design principles for animation.
• Knowledge of character design and anatomy for creating appealing and expressive characters.
