Challenge TB
KNCV is the lead partner in Challenge TB (CTB), the new USAID-funded 5-year global program to decrease TB mortality and morbidity in high burdened countries. We lead an international consortium with eight partner organizations: American Thoracic Society (ATS), Family Health International (FHI 360). Interactive Research & Development (IRD), Japanese Anti Tuberculosis Foundation (JATA), Management Sciences for Health (MSH), Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), and the World Health Organization. The project in Nigeria will be for a period of 16 months supporting 12 states in Nigeria for quality implementation of TB program.

The overarching strategic objectives of Challenge TB are to improve access to quality patient centered care for TB, TB/HIV, and MDR-TB services; to prevent transmission and disease progression; to strengthen TB platforms.

Purpose of the position and organizational position
The officer will be an image maker of the CTB project and will specifically:

• Work in collaboration with the M & E unit;
• Support the review and adaptation of TB messages for bulk SMS and radio jingles:
• Synthesize formal reports into summary reports;
• Identify and write success stories on the implementation of the project & prepares monthly bulletins about progress of CTB.

Specific Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant area
• Experience with working in Public Health Programs
• 4 years experience in Communications, Marketing & Image making for health projects
• Experience in Creating & Maintaining branding for programs
• Experience in identifying communication channels in different communities
• Standard information, communication & technology skills including social media skills
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
