    Administrative Clerk

    Position Grade: FSN-05/FP-09
    Work Hours: Full-time; 40 hours/week

    Basic Function of the Position
    The Incumbent serves as ICASS Administrative Clerk in the Motor Pool section of the General Services Office (GSO). S/he performs clerical, administrative, and secretarial functions in the Motor Pool section to ICASS standards. Tracks vehicle usage information and prepares ICASS billing reports. This position coordinates all ICASS reports for motor pool, liaises with the Financial Management Office (FMO) to ensure all necessary reports are submitted in an accurate and timely manner. The job holder prepares vehicle and boat usage reports as well as billing reports for all official and other authorized use trips.

    Position Requirements
    Note:

    • Completion of Secondary School is required.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing clerical and administrative duties, utilizing Microsoft computer applications is required.
    • Level III (Good working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English is required. Language proficiency will be tested.
    • Ability to perform clerical duties, including filing, records keeping, preparing reports and correspondence, understands GSO administrative and motor pool operations are required.
    • Must be able to read and understand documents, write clearly, and communicate clearly on the phone or by radio when necessary.
    • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of personal computer applications, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook with level II typing speed (40 words per minute).

    Selection Process
    When fully qualified, U.S. Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) and U.S. Veterans are given preference. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate specifically address the required qualifications above in the application.

    Additional Selection Criteria

    • Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest, budget, and residency status in determining successful candidacy.
    • Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply.
    • Current Ordinarily Resident employees with an overall summary rating of "Needs Improvement" or "Unsatisfactory" on their most recent Employee Performance Report are not eligible to apply.
    • Currently employed U.S. Citizen EFMs who hold a Family Member Appointment (FMA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment.
    • Currently employed NORs hired under a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment unless currently hired into a position with a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.

    In addition to the basic salary, all allowances will be paid in accordance with the Mission Local Compensation Plan.
    NOR - Not Ordinarily Resident - AEFM - US$32,498 EFM/MOH - US$27,982 (Starting Salary) p.a. Position Grade: FP-09
