Global Data Center Service Engineer at Talent Bureau

Job Description

• Execute regional co-location projects in the deployment and maintenance of compute servers in remote data centres.
• Manage DC infrastructure in the region in accordance to corporate guidelines.
• Perform structured audit of data centre sites leading to management reporting on performance by DC operators and facilities.
• Manage asset inventories and the disposal of obsolete equipment from remote DC.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required from IT related disciplines.
• Experience (6 years) of increasing responsibilities within a global, multi- cultural, multi-location, organization.
• Expertise with data centre operational tasks, including rack sizing, construction, equipment installation and decommissioning. Willing to do hands-on activities.
• Ability to organize and work effectively with other project teams and departments participating in DC related projects.
• Proven track record in remote vendor management for infrastructure expansion, enforce compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
