Supervisor - Tax Operations at Maersk

Key Responsibilities

• •Assists Tax operation manager in calculation, review and filing of tax returns
• •Ensures timely submission of tax returns at tax offices
• •Processing and obtaining Tax Clearance Certificates (TCC)
• •Assists the Tax operations manager in proving statutory audit support
• •May also be involved in tax advice on other tax projects determined from time to time

• •Sound knowledge of the tax laws
• •Fluency in written and spoken English
• •Bachelor’s degree in a Finance related discipline
• •Must have taken the first level ICAN exams
• •A minimum of 3 years work experience in Nigeria preferably from an in-house tax department, an accounting firm or the tax authorities
