This position is based in Abuja. Manages a field office and is responsible for all financial and administrative management; program development and implementation; and grant development and implementation in that office’s area of responsibility
Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 7 years professional experience (including at least 2 years of supervisory experience) working in complex and challenging field operational contexts
· Univ degree in political science, international affairs and other related social sciences field
· Have prior experience demonstrating the skills to fulfill the range of responsibilities outlined above for the regional managers
· Prior experience with international development organisations, particularly with transition programmes and/or programs that have community-level engagement
· Previous experience working in Nigeria
· Prior experience working on rapid transition programs
· Written and spoken fluency in English is required
· Fluency in one or more of the local state languages in the north-eastern part of Nigeria is required
