Medical Services Team Lead at GeroCare Solutions Limited

Position in the organization

• Accountable to Chief Executive Officer
• Responsible for Coordinating the Medical Services Department
• Working in conjunction with Client Services, Marketing, Partners.

Overall Purpose of Job

• Responsible for ensuring the medical team deliver high quality health care with excellent clinical effectiveness and patient experience.
• In addition the medical team leader is expected to take part in delivery of medical care if need be by participating in patient visits when required or when patient is in close proximity to and coordination of partner services.

The medical team comprises:

• Doctor network across the Nigeria
• Partner services
• Pharmacy Network
• Laboratory Network
• Caregiver Network
• Other support services.

Summary of Main Responsibilities

• Match patients to doctors
• Ensure visits are carried out as at when due, reports are posted in a timely manner; prescribed drugs delivered and requested tests done.
• Recruit doctors and manage doctor network
• Coordinate activities of care partners
• Manage sponsor needs.

Person Specifications

• The post of Medical Services Team Lead involves operational management and development of GeroCare’s medical services in accordance with its ethos and core values as well as carrying out clinical duties as part of the Medical Team. The following are considered essential or desirable for this post:
• A medical qualification (MBBS, MB BChir or equivalent)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
• Registration with the medical and dental council of Nigeria and updated practising license
• Interest in pursuing a career in digital health as opposed to residency
• Good IT skills: use of email, internet, Patient Management Systems & Microsoft Office

Experience:

• Post NYSC
• HMO Experience added advantage
• least 1 year post NYSC clinical experience
