About The Project

• Digital Economy - Web Projects is aimed at providing FREE WEBSITES for One Million Nigerian Businesses, Individuals, Lecturers/ Teachers, Students, Churches/ Mosques, Religious Leaders/Institutions, Schools, Artisans, Hotels, Hospital, NGOs and Corporate organizations. A project launched and funded by a group of non-for-profit internet foundation.
• Bill Gates posited that “if your Business is not on the Internet, your Business will be out of Business”. On this note, we aim to support Nigerian businesses/corporate organization especially Startup who cannot build and maintain a profitable website due to the cost involved. For any business to survived in this 21st century, it must keep pace with the modern trends in technology. Businesses is undergoing a digital transformation, and it’s happening at breakneck speed. The digital economy is taking shape and undermining conventional notions about how businesses are structured; how firms interact; and how consumers obtain services, information, and goods.
• Recently, TechCrunch, noted, “Uber, the world’s largest taxi company, owns no vehicles. Facebook, the world’s most popular media owner, creates no content. Alibaba, the most valuable retailer, has no inventory. And Airbnb, the world’s largest accommodation provider, owns no real estate… Something interesting is happening.”
• Most consumers are looking online for information that will help them make smarter purchasing decisions. In fact, according to the eCommerce Foundation, 88% of consumers will research product information before they make a purchase online or in the store. This buying behavior trend emphasizes the importance of having a well-crafted & dynamic website for today’s businesses.

Essential Functions

• Manage the Communications and Advocacy requests for support system (i.e., communicating with other team members to assign requests appropriately; communicating with “clients” on timelines and details; handling appropriate types of requests.
• Ability to market and introduce Digital Economy-Web Projects to Businesses, Artisans, Personal, Corporate organization, educational institutions and Keeping tracks of clients from projects execution to completion.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, HND / ND / NCE in any discipline
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to function in a face-paced environment and juggle multiple tasking
