Quality Control Officer at Sunrose Consulting

Job Description

• Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, you will provide support to all quality control functions within the factory.
• You will provide support to factory HODs, supervisors and all factory staff to develop and successfully execute production plans within the factory.

In addition, this role will require you to perform the following functions:

• Assist the Quality Control Supervisor in developing processes and procedures for the quality control department.
• Ensure that production is of good quality (the proper colour, flashes-free etc).
• Ensure that proper quality checks and waste records are maintained.
• Assist in training production packers to ensure they comply with the standards.
• Liaising with production department on any problem as regards housekeeping and the production process.
• Interpret data to identify problems or trends as a basis for planning remedial action.
• Ensure all components or supplies meet the highest possible standards by carrying out routine inspections and rejecting unsuitable items on running machines.
• Perform a wide range of controlled tests on products at various stages of the production process.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to deal with any issues that arise.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and compliance to Personal Protective Equipments.

Specifications

• Minimum educational standard: HND/ B.Sc.
• Minimum Working Experience: 2 Years related experience.
