Our client, a new Telecommunications infrastructure and wireless service facilitator is currently seeking to grow its team by hiring a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Description

• To develop, lead, report and manage all site acquisition activities of the company
• Also responsible for identifying, researching, analysing, coordinating leasing contracts and negotiations, and ensuring the achievement of controlled SAQ costs within approved budget as well as oversee regulatory trends for business sustainability.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate the search and identification for suitable locations, due diligence, and lease negotiations within the target search region
• Responsible for coordinating telecommunications site acquisition and leasing activities on behalf of the company
• Liaise with property owners to obtain the necessary regulatory clearance, permit and approval
• Keep abreast with regulatory trends that might affect the development of a telecommunications site
• Monitor current trends in legal and regulatory provisions as it impacts acquisitions and leases
• Ensures all related SAQ costs are within the price book limits and budget
• Prepare detailed update reports on possible site locations and leases/purchase agreements with property owners
• Verify all Title documents for the approved site locations.
• Seamlessly manage the lease agreement and renewal process to completion.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Estate Management, Quantity Survey, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 - 6 years of experience. Minimum of 3 years site acquisition experience in the telecom Industry.
• A Postgraduate qualification (MBA or MSc) will be an added advantage
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent computer/reporting skills, proficiency with MS Excel and other database/project management tracking tools.
• Highly motivated “self-starter”, Initiator and Innovative thinker.
