This is a perfect opportunity for an analytical minded, tech savvy individual with an understanding of the online retail space. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Job Responsibilities:

• ? Identify new market opportunities
• ? Perform extensive market research
• ? Evaluate market penetration
• ? Analyse marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships.
• ? Identify positive financial outcomes to increase profitability.
• ? Create databases and capture market data
• ? Analyse competitors
• ? Develop sales strategies in tandem with marketing department.
• ? Offer insights about product potentials.
• ? Determine perceptions and reputation

Qualifications :    
Our Ideal Candidate:

• ? Technical or Business degree coupled with formal business education (MBA etc) preferred
• ? Entrepreneurial experience in a similar stage company
• ? 5+ years of total experience in business unit/corporate strategy, product management and market analyst in the retail, mobile and technology industries preferred
• ? Knowledge of e-Commerce, logistics, mobile payments, ecosystem dynamics, technologies and tactics required
• ? Expertise building business cases around market opportunities and partnerships – including strategy development, market segmentation, competitive analysis and financial analysis.
• Strong ability to influence without authority, sell concepts internally and activity drive streamlined decision making
• ? Strong analytical skills with an uncanny ability to analyse an opportunity from many angles
• ? Excellent strategic and creative thinking, with particular emphasis on evaluating new opportunities and changing emerging ecommerce models and dynamics
• ? Strong ability to comprehend, structure and negotiate complex business agreements, strong business and financial acumen and superior analytical and writing skills
