The Architect would be responsible for all designs, preparation and delivery of architectural drawings and ensuring consistency of design specifications both on paper and on site.
Key elements of the role:
- Report to the Manager, Projects
- Create building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications for all projects
- Design and supervise implementation for existing branch upgrades, new branch roll out and special projects
- Carry out design reviews and amendments where necessary
- Coordinate the preparation of other engineering drawings
- Responsible for thorough scoping and assessment of new projects
- Ensure that reported maintenance works are properly assessed and scoped
- Ensure all architectural projects are all completed on time and within budget
- Ensure that vendors are held liable to correct any defective work at no additional cost to the firm
- Work closely with other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors to achieve specified requirements
- Visit construction and renovation sites as required during the course of projects
- Monitor defects liability periods for projects executed
- Maintain timeliness and accuracy of all mandatory reports and project updates
- Ensure delivery of projects to specifications within timeline
- Execute other tasks as may be assigned
