We seek a Backend Developer who will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
Focus will be on optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability. You will work side by side with Frontend Developer and other members of the Tech team.
Job Description
Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
Implementation of security and data protection
Design and implementation of data storage solutions
Integrate the front-end elements built into the application
Develop all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database
Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Backend developer
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective and efficient communication
Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Basic understanding of frontend
Great analytical skills for decision making and problem solving
Good managerial and organizational skills which involve multitasking and rapt attention to details
Knowledge of graphics software such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop etc
