    Development of Social Media Plan and Content Deployment Strategy

    The service to be delivered is detailed in the attached schedule.
    The services will be delivered over a maximum of 90 days The scope of this project includes all research, design and development of training content by the bidder. Neem Foundation will provide the bidder with guidance on the modules to be included in the training. However, the bidder is also required (on the basis of proven expertise in developing such training
    materials and delivering such trainings) to recommend modules to be included in the training content. This will be subject to scrutiny and approval by Neem Foundation. The selected bidder will be responsible for ensuring that the training materials developed are context and culturally appropriate – this will include language translations and sensitivity to local and cultural norms of the Northeast region of Nigeria where the programme will be implemented.

    Purpose:
    Neem Foundation’s Heroines of Peace project is implemented in the Northeast of Nigeria. It aims to empower women in communities, through collaboration, capacity building and awareness raising. To empower women,
    however, it is important to embrace a whole-of-community approach and target key stakeholders and leaders in order to garner support and ensure that everybody is carried along in the era of post-conflict recovery.
    Therefore, Neem Foundation is seeking for expert(s) to develop a comprehensive set of training materials on peacebuilding that will inform targeted peacebuilding trainings for different stakeholder groups in the North-
    east, highlighting the importance of peacebuilding for recovery, reintegration, reconciliation and post-conflict reconstruction, and the role of various actors in peacebuilding in the region.
    Specific Activities:

    • Develop specific training content tailored to address gaps in capacity and understanding of peace- building and its importance for the Northeast
    • Develop training components/modules suited for different stakeholder groups that are strategic for peacebuilding in the Northeast.
    • Produce training content in various local languages of the region to ensure ease of dissemination to relevant stakeholders.

    Timeframe:
    Three Months (including reporting)
    Expectations:

    • The selected Consultant must demonstrate the capacity to provide an inception, interim and final project report, which details the milestones achieved in the implementation of the project, including
    • challenges, lessons and recommendations for improvement. The timeline for the submission of the
    • reports will be set out in the engagement contract given to the successful Consultant.
    • The successful Consultant must demonstrate the capacity to conduct desk research and collect necessary primary data from relevant stakeholders in developing the training content.
    • An ideal candidate should have a proven track-record of managing, contributing or responsible for the development of training guides or manuals used by national or international agencies for
    • supporting similar work.
    • An ideal candidate should demonstrate a detailed understanding of the insurgency in Northeast Nigeria as well as the challenges, opportunities, and threats that could affect peacebuilding, conflict
    • prevention and response.
