    Digital Marketing Manager


    Principal responsibilities and accountabilities  

    The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Digital marketing managers will work with internal teams (Product, IT/CIP) and external (agencies) to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

    • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, bulk SMS, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
    • Ability to understand the rules, interpret results, and run with existing channels for service promotion.  
    • Innovate on new marketing activities to promote existing and new services. 
    • Develop clear marketing budget for each marketing activity and submit same for approval, with detailed business case and motivation.  
    • Develop campaign messages and ensure that the campaign message is in line with marketing rules on the mobile operator networks.
    • Design, build and maintain our social media presence. 
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). 
    • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights. 
    • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies. 
    • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.  
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.  
    • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points. 
    • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.  
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate. 
    • Develop and manage projects and team members, including delegating tasks, reviewing team member work, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas, and implementing projects 
    • Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information. 
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

    Job competencies and capabilities 

    • Proven working experience in digital marketing, using platform tools (Google Marketing Platform, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, etc). 
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns  
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate  
    • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) 
    • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram Paid Advertising 
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking  
    • Demonstrable experience driving Social media adoption for Nigerian brands


    Skills & Knowledge 

    • Work experience of 5-7 years
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A/ in Marketing or other related courses. MBA will be an added advantage. 
    • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to Write exceptional original material, edit, proofread, and finalize written material. 
    • Results-oriented and good project management skills. 
    • Excellent collaborative skill 
    • Good knowledge of programmatic advertising, particularly working with a local DSP like Eskimi. (Experience in the mobile telecoms value-added services industry is an added advantage) 
    • Ability to Gather and report numerical data and produce statistical reports. 
    • Excellent collaborative skill

    • Comfortable working in a loosely structured organization 
    • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules 
    • Be eager to learn 
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Package 
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking  
    • Demonstrable experience driving Social media adoption for Nigerian brands.
