Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) is a Nigerian registered NGO working for the promotion of environmental and human rights of protection in and around rural and urban communities in Nigeria; aimed at poverty alleviation through education, information sharing, research, emergency/humanitarian response and direct- impact interventions.
Recently the organisation implemented a SAFE project in Bama which was supported by Nigeran Humanitarian Fund (NHF) through UN-OCHA. The project was designed for 6 months (January to July, 2019) with the aim of achieving contributing to the improvement in the socio-economic welfare of IDPs (new arrivals and households in congested camps) affected by the conflict by increasing access to safe fuel and energy in Bama LGA of Borno state by 2019 by provide life-saving emergency assistance (SAFE) to the most vulnerable people in conflict-affected areas ensuring that assistance is timely and appropriate and meets relevant technical standards.

The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the project design, implementation process, achievements of its results and objectives as well as lessons learned and recommendations that will benefit the design of future similar interventions in Nigeria.
GREENCODE will share the output of the evaluation with partners and relevant stakeholders such as UN agencies, SEMA, clusters/sectors and INGOs.
The consultancy shall last for a period of 10 working days within 2 weeks period commencing immediately.
