Quality Control Officer at Nuts About Cakes

JOB DESCRIPTION

The scope of duties shall include and not be limited to the following:

•  Effective management of production department and environment
• Create and maintain an atmosphere in which productivity is at its maximum capacity
• Operational strategizing
•  Ensuring and monitoring product quality and packaging
• Effective management of product quality in all Nuts About Cakes stores
• Establishing and enforcing organization standards to maintain quality of service
• Determining and agreeing on in-house quality procedures and standards with the Operations Manager
• Working with procurement officer to establish quality requirements of raw materials from suppliers
• Generating change and improvement in standards/quality of service
• Investigating, monitoring and setting standards for quality/health and safety
• Drawing up ways to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Understanding recipes and ensuring accurate measurements are followed during production
• Investigate customer complaints and route cause to prevent re-occurrence
• Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
• Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to maintain high levels of Customer satisfaction.          

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a university degree (Bsc)
• Minimum of 2years experience as a Quality Control Officer.
• Previous experience in FMCG will also be an added advantage
