• We are looking for a candidate that is technically equipped, Mobile apps background, Agile, Scrum master, Willing to travel across Africa on business trip.

Job Description and Expectations

• Relevant experience in scrum / project management must by in between 3 to 5 yrs, while the total IT experience must be 7+ years
• To push for agile adoption culture with in the team and the respective stakeholders involved in the success of the project
• Conduct daily scrum meetings and must have exposure in managing digital apps projects
• Ability to manage passive / aggressive approach of for ensuring the daily stand up are conducting, and encourage the project stakeholders on the benefits of impediment resolution for the folks who are not attending the stand ups.
• Conduct agile ceremonies ( standees, sprint end review, documenting the deliverables, retro inspection of backlog grooming and what we did better / bad )
• Maintaining sprint board, backlog grooming in Jira ( by working with the product management before start of sprint 1 to go ahead with a high end back log )
• Conduct backlog grooming sessions every 2 to 3 sprints with the product manager
• Prepare a plan for 2 to 3 sprints in advance for more transparency in the upcoming releases
• Ability to manage offshore and on site engineering associates
• Proficient in tools like Jira, slack, Microsoft Project Plan and Microsoft sharepoint
• Well versed with Agile reporting like ( Release Burn down, Team Velocity, CPI (Cost performance index), SPI (Schedule performance index), Business Value delivery, % Unit Test coverage, Technical Debt )
• Ability to keeping pace with the "shorter cycle to releases² and yet being nimble to cater just in time requests, instead of pushing them to backlog / next phase / sprint via release tracking in Jira
• Encourage & ensure need of planned sprint for release and ensuring testers start contributing from day 1 by adding acceptance positive / negative test criteria and code branching & review approach
• Reviewing the release notes components: Deployment Jira Ticket, environment details, risks, changes and impact with a roll back up with a deployment window.
