Divisional Head, Shared Services at Execution Edge Limited

Job Decription

• This position reports directly to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
• The incumbent will be responsible for formulating strategies and overseeing all operations in the shared services division, specifically - Clearing & Settlement, Corporate Services, Human Resources and Legal Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate the company’s strategy in line with market developments, regulation and the economy as well as oversee its implementation across reporting departments
• Ensure effective control and management of company operations, including but not limited to evaluating operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance, promote best practices, and assure that the company is constantly improving its competitive position
• Determine which activities, projects or issues require a legal opinion and ensure the provision and supervision of such services, as required
• Oversee the human resources function, ensuring the provision of advice on HR matters to the CEO and Management team, including the development and review of relevant HR strategies, policies and procedures
• Monitor, control and achieve sales and customer support revenue volumes against budgeted targets
• Provide strong leadership, direction, performance management and development to all human capital within the Shared Services divisionExperience in the Capital Markets or Financial Services sector.

Required Qualification & Experience

• A First Degree in a business-related discipline or Law with an MBA or relevant Masters degree
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in an Executive Management role
• Good knowledge of the Capital Market and Legal Services, Human Resources & Corporate Services
