Resource Intermediaries Limited is currently recruiting for her client a reputable leasing company located in Lagos for the role of a Treasury Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manages daily cash positions & invest/borrow funds as required under corporate guidelines
• Develops processes and systems to determine daily free cash flow position (fcf)
• Ensures daily bank reconciliations and thorough investigation of un-reconciled items
• Oversees daily cash applications to customer accounts
• Oversees the foreign exchange management function of treasury
• Tracks and manages intra/inter-company funding
• Prepares weekly / monthly / annual cash flow forecasts and monitors/explains variances
• Assesses, manages and mitigates foreign currency exposures
• Manages debt obligations and lender relationships
• Assists in negotiating of banking fees & expenses from time to time
• Ensures adequate internal controls& segregation of duties over cash disbursements/transfers/receipts
• Ensures compliance with SOX controls as relates to treasury operations
• Provides financial planning, budgeting and reporting activities, while also developing, implementing and supporting financial modeling and analysis for budgeting and forecasting
• Provides timely and accurate financial projection updates, identifying risks & opportunities along with recommendations.
• Ensures treasury activities are in compliance with treasury policies, accounting guidelines, governance policies and internal controls
•  Alongside financial controller and Finance Director interacts, with banks to improve liquidity management.
• Supports the financial controller as required on ad hoc treasury/financial and associated matters.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related course.  
• 2-4years experience in a similar role. 
• Professional Qualification is mandatory (ICAN/ ACCA/CTP)
• Vast knowledge of cash and liquidity management
• Ability to develop long term financial strategy and policies for the business.
