JOB SUMMARY
The Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing the operational, commercial and compliance aspect of the business. An experienced candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be a creative strategist, with relevant industry experience and knowledge of the target market.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee the operational setup of the business
• Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
• Develop and implement commercial strategies in line with set financial targets
• Conduct market research and analysis to identifying business development opportunities in the UK
• Understand the requirements of existing customers and finding innovative solutions to meet requirements
• Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
• Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders

Basic Requirements:

• Must be UK based- London preferably
• In-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the African community in the UK as well as access to this community is crucial
• Proven experience in sales/marketing
• In-depth knowledge of the remittance industry
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• MSc/MA in business administration, finance, compliance or relevant field is a plus
