Internal Security Officer at RS Hunter Limited

Our client in the Manufacturing Sector(Distillery) seeks the services of a Internal security officer  who would be responsible for maintaining safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in being responsible for the security and safety of  Staff; Building; Assets and Stock.
Maintains safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Assist the management in the enforce of staff discipline, rules and regulations.

Safeguarding Staff, Building, Assets, Stock:

• Assist in securing premises by making regular patrol of the facility, monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Spot check of the back store, registers and entry point for vendor/suppliers and other points of exit/entry.
• Constant check of staff and movement of stocks.
• Assist in preventing loss and damages by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

Compliance with company policies and procedures on Safety and security measures:

• Ensuring all systems, process and checks are followed by staffs and suppliers.
• Fire safety norms and standards are strictly adhering to.
• Actively involved in facility opening and closing process.

Monitoring of Security staffs, Contract staffs:

• Checking on the reporting time and attendance.
• Monitoring of their performance.
• Giving on the job training and tips.
• Cross checking their movements

Parking Control:

• Ensuring that parking etiquette is maintained.
• Adherence to Car park management.
• Handle the issues relating to rift, fights, indiscipline, etc.
• Directing drivers on parking spot.
• Counter measures for bomb threat.
• Resolve vehicle damage, loss; theft, stealing.

Security Gadgets:

• Assist in monitoring the performance of all security gadgets – camera, fire equips, safety equips, etc.
• Assist in capturing of all vital information through gadgets.
• Assist in reviewing the recordings.
• Assist in analysing information to resolve incidences.

Requirements

MIN REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

3 year(s) Minimum as a security personnel.

MIN QUALIFICATION

HND/B.Sc.
